Louisiana Chili Cook-Off
March 10 & 11, 2018

General Information

Both The Louisiana Regional Chili Cook-Off and The Louisiana State Chili Cook-Off events are sanctioned events by the International Chili Society (ICS).  These events are held in conjunction with the LSU Annual Garden Show/Plant Sale that is held inside the Parker Coliseum. This Year we will Also Have a CASI Red Chili Division That is Sanctioned by The Chili Appreciation Society International.

Also, the Baton Rouge Spring Car Show will be held in the large parking lot on side of the Parker Coliseum. 

Both Cook offs will be set up in the concrete lot directly in front of the Parker Coliseum. Set up begins @ 7am each day. Please do not break down until after 4pm each day.

Cooks Party will be held in 4H Mini Farm Building (Next to Parker Coliseum) Friday, March 9th 6-9pm

Pre- Cook off Party: Featuring a Cajun food buffet & Drinks (cooks, helpers, judges and anyone involved with cook off welcome to attend)

March 10th & 11th 2018 (March 11th schedule will be one hour earlier on all turn in times.)

7am – 8:45am

Judges meeting for each category will be 30 minutes before turn in respectively

Peoples Choice Winners

Louisiana Residents can opt to enter the "Local Division" category for a $20 entry fee. Just print out and send in the application  below.

1.  Join the ICS - go to ICS web site

2.  Find Our cook off By searching the ICS website and click link to sign up

3. Choose Categories you want to compete in:
Red Chili, Verde Chili, Salsa.

4.    Entry Fees: Can be paid in advance or onsite at cook off.
ICS Division
        Red Chili - $40
        Chili Verde - $30
        Salsa - $20

CASI Division
Red Chili - $25

1 gallon of Peoples Choice chili required in addition to entry fees for ICS red & verde categories. CASI contestants Please Bring "Throw Down" Chili For public Tasting.
